Malaysia Stamps - Royal Visit of the TRH the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall - November 3, 2017 Issue

I created these First Day Covers at Penang Main Post Office in George Town and at Butterworth Post Office. The TRH visited George Town, Penang Island (formerly Prince of Wales Island) on November 7, 2017 touring the house of worship at St. George's Church, Kapitan Keling Mosque, Sri Mahamariamman Hindu Temple and Royal Malaysian Air Force Base in Butterworth which was formerly Royal Australian Air Force Base.

Malaysia Stamp - Festival Food Series - Indian - October 17, 2017 Issue

I was at Penang General Post Office and created these First Day Cover - that complete this four food festival series of Chinese, Malay, Kazadazan Duzun and Dayak and now Indian.

I visited 42 post offices out of 57 in Singapore in October 2017 and obtained the date cancellation from each post office.

I created these First Day Cover cancellations at Johor Bahru General Post Office and at Mersing Post Office, Johor.

Malaysia Stamps - Negaraku - September 14, 2017 Issue

For this issue, the 4 stamps (50, 50, 60, 60 sen) are winning paintings by children to depict this theme Negaraku (My country) and there are RM3 and RM6 miniature sheet. I created these First Day Covers at Penang Main Post Office (Penang Island), Bukit Mertajam PO (Mainland Penang), Sungai Petani (Kedah State) and Parit Buntar (Perak State). I also collected a FDC cancelled in Sibu Post Office (Sarawak State). There are 14 states and 3 federal territories and so at least covered 3 states today.

Malaysia Stamps - Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di-Pertuan Agong - Special Edition Series III - September 9, 2017 Issue

This third series of special stamp sheet to show all the previous and current Yang Di-Pertuan Agong (King of Malaysia). I added and cancelled the miniature sheets of current King (Sultan of Kelantan) and previous King (Sultan of Kedah) on the official folder cover. There is no official First Day Cover for this issue.

Malaysia Stamps - 150 Years Straits Settlements Stamps Provisional Issue - September 1, 2017

The Straits Settlements cover Penang (first named Prince of Wales Island and now Penang Island as well as a mainland stretch called Province Wellesley and now Seberang Perai) , Malacca (now Melaka) and Singapore (now a separate country) and at one time, Labuan, an island off Sabah in Borneo and Dindings (Lumut, Setiawan and Pangkor Island in Perak).

1A) For Penang, I visited and cancelled at all 5 post offices in Penang State.

In Penang Island, there are two post offices (PULAU PINANG at Penang Main Post Office at Downing Street, George Town and DATO KRAMAT Post Office) with First Day Cover pictorial cancellations.

1B) In Seberang Perai, there are three post offices with pictorial FDC chops - BUTTERWORTH, TAMAN CHAI LENG (in Perai) and BUKIT MERTAJAM.

2) For Dindings, I visited Perak State and cancelled at LUMUT, SITIAWAN and PANGKOR post office. As there is no FDC cancellation for Pangkor Island Post Office, I did a normal date chop. 

3) For Melaka, I bought from other collectors - FDC cancelled at JLN. LAKSAMANA Post Office in the heart of historic Melaka and MELAKA at Melaka General  Post Office.

4) For Labuan, I swapped with a collector from LABUAN.

In addition, there are souvenir covers designed by Penang Philatelic Society with the PPS chop and PPS 150 Years Straits Settlements special chop.

Malaysia Stamps - Kuala Lumpur 2017 29th SEA Games - August 19, 2017 Issue

I visited Kuala Lumpur Main Post Office to buy the stamps and covers and got the signature of the stamp designer on site. Also went to KLCC Post Office and Seri Petaling Post Office which are post offices closest to the KL Convention Center and Bukit Jalil Stadium and Sports Complex where the many events of the SEA Games are held. At the same time, went to Cheras Makmur Post Office and Taman Connaught Post office to get the First Day Cancellation for my collection.
