Malaysia Stamp - Tourist Destinations - Kedah and Kelantan - July 27, 2016 Issue

I created these FDCs for my own collection at Alor Setar Main Post Office, Sungai Petani Post Office, Merbok Post Office - all in the Kedah State and Butterworth Post Office in Penang.

Later, I visited Kota Bharu General Post Office in Kelantan and got the Kota Bharu First Day Cancellation too .

Alor Setar is the nearest FDC cancellation post office for the Muzium Padi (Rice Museum) and the Alor Setar Tower depicted in the stamp. Sungai Petani is the nearest FDC cancellation post office to Lembah Bujang (Bujang Valley) and Merbok Post Office is right near the entrance to Lembah Bujang Museum.

I first bought my stamps and FDC covers at Butterworth Post Office in Penang before proceeding to Kedah and so took the opportunity to do a cancellation here. Enjoy viewing.
