Malaysia Currency Stamp January 18, 2010 Issue

Here are some FDCs that I have created for my collection. This set of circular shape stamps have the year 2009 printed as it was originally scheduled to be released in December 2009. Besides the six different stamps of 50 sen value and 1 miniature sheet stamp of RM5, there is a premium stamp of RM50 (made of silver) which came in a special folder. This RM50 stamp is really a small rectangle stamp, I saw it from someone who bought it at the Post Office. Below scans include the 5 sen coin not included the stamp and the older version of 20 sen coin with the Parliament House. The Malaysian 1 sen and 1 ringgit coin are no longer in circulation. The largest bill denomination is the 100 ringgit bill as the RM1000 bill was pulled out of no longer in circulation after the 1997 economic crisis for currency flow control. Money, money, money to start the year 2010 - Year of the Tiger.
