Malaysia Stamps - Largest Chengal Tree - Pokok Cengal Terbesar - July 27, 2023 Issue

Featuring this Peninsular Malaysia endemic tropical hardwood tree. The largest Chengal Tree found near Dungun, Terengganu. 1) I visited Penang GPO to buy stamps, FDC envelope and get the first FDC chop. 2) Then I visited Bagan Serai Post Office in Perak as this a post office that started to have First Day chop but the Post Office had returned their chop earlier in the day and so I have to contend to buying a precancelled Bagan Serai FDC. 3) Then to chop my remaining uncancelled FDCs which I was hoping to cancel at Bagan Serai PO, I visited nearby Parit Buntar Post Office, Perak - an unplanned third post office visit. 4) Received a FDC cancelled at Jinjang Post Office from a Kuala Lumpur collector.

I visited Bagan Serai Post Office to do FDC cancellation on Largest Chengal Tree new issue but the FDC chop already returned earlier in the day. Fortunately, I was able to buy a precancelled FDC of Bagan Serai Post Office of both Largest Chengal Tree and Mountain Ranges of Malaysia from the Post Office.
