Malaysia Stamps - National Day Celebration 2018 - August 31, 2018

To celebrate Malaysia National Day Celebration 2018, I went on a day trip to visit the main post offices of 3 states, Penang, Kedah and Perlis - Pulau Pinang (George Town), Alor Setar, Kangar are the state capitals.

I collected also FDC cancellations done in Ipoh, Kualau Lumpur, Putrajaya, Kuantan, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Parit Buntar (Perak), Alor Gajah (Melaka) and Rompin (Negeri Sembilan).

Also did a hybrid cover with older flag themed stamp issue and created private creative covers using Kiriman Merdeka covers with different stamps, stickers, drawings.

Malaysia Stamps - Blowpipes - August 14, 2018 Issue

Blowpipes of Orang Asli (Peninsular Malaysia), Dayaks (Sarawak), Muruts (Sabah). Created FDC at Pulau Pinang Main Post Office, Dato Keramat Post Office and Taman Chai Leng Post Office. In addition FDC cancelled at Tumpat Post Office, Kelantan and Beaufort Post Office, Sabah.

Three stamps of 60 sen value and 1 minisheet of RM3.

Also created hybrid with earlier stamp issues of blowpipes and using special free Pos Malaysia covers for Merdeka. Enjoy viewing.

FDC cancelled at Beaufort Post Office, Sabah.

FDC cancelled at Pulau Pinang, Dato Keramat and Taman Chai Leng Post Offices, all located in Penang State.

Malaysia Stamp - Historical Museums in Malaysia - July 23, 2018 Issue

I visited Perak Museum, Taiping in Perak - the oldest museum in Malaysia to get the Museum cancellation as well as Taiping Post Office First Day Cover cancellation. I also cancelled at Penang General Post Office and Butterworth Post Office (as it which will be permanently closed down this week). Used the Perak Museum admission ticket for July 23, 2018 as well as earlier Telegraph Museum in Taiping stamp and earlier issue of Perak Museum stamp to make hybrid covers.

Malaysia Stamp - Telegraph Museum - July 16, 2018 Issue

I visited Penang GPO to buy covers and stamps and went to Taiping Post Office, Perak to make FDC Cancellations and Telegraph Museum that is located in Taiping next to the Taiping Post Office. The Opening of the Telegraph Museum was done by the Sultan of Perak on July 16, 2018. I used the Telegraph Museum opening day special cancellation and also attaching Limited Opening Day Telegraph Museum Admission ticket as well as making a hybrid cover using theme related stamps.

Malaysia Stamp - Unique Structure - June 28, 2018 Issue

This stamp issue of Unique Structure shows 4 stamps of different locations: Kuala Kangsar in Perak, Putrajaya, Kuching in Sarawak and Tamparuli in Sabah. I created these First Day Covers including hybrid ones with related theme stamps at Penang General Post Office and Kuala Kangsar Post Office, Perak.

In addition, I received a First Day Cover cancelled in Kuching Post Office for the Darul Hana Bridge, Kuching.

And First Day Cancellations from Sri Aman Post Office, Sarawak too.
