Malaysia Day 2024 issue of 1 value of RM1.30. Cancelled First Day Cover at Pulau Pinang Main Post Office. It was sold on September 18, 2024 as the GPO was closed on September 16, 2024.

Created this First Day Cover at Pulau Pinang Main Post OFficer aka George Town General Post Office in Penang islaand. A setenant of two values of RM1.30 showing the past and presennt MAHA Fair.

Visited George Town, GPO in Penang Island to create these FDCs for the ASEAN Joint General Post Office stamps.

 

Malaysia Stamps - Installation of 17th King of Malaysia - YDPA Sultan Ibrahim - July 20, 2024 Issue

Penang GPO was closed on 3rd Saturday July 20,2024 though GPO in other states were open. Revisited on July 22, 2024 on Monday to create these FDC for my own collection. Inlcuded other stamps for hybrid FDC.

Malaysia Stamp - 100th Anniversary of Causeway (Ulang Tahun Ke-100 Tambak Johor) - June 28, 2024 Issue

Created these FDC at Pulau Pinang Main Post Office and Dato' Keramat Post Office in Penang Island. Wish I was at Johor Bahru and Singapore to create more unique FDC for this joint stamp issue by Pos Malaysia and Singapore Post. But I have ordered hybrid covers and will post them later here when I received them.

Malaysia Stamp - 50th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations of Malaysia and China (Ulang Tahun Ke-50 Hubungan Diplomatak Malaysia - China) - May 31, 2024 Issue

A joint issue of Malaysia and China. I visited Taman Chai Leng Post Offcie in Penang Mainland to get the First Day Cover cancellation because the name Taman Chai Leng has a combination of Malay and Chinese. "Taman" in Malay language means "Garden" while "Chai Leng" in Chinese characters is 才能 - the name of a Malaysia Chinese businessman. I hope to purchase the China FDC for this joint issue and will post it here later.

Malaysia Stamps 2024 - Traditional Dances - Tarian Tradisional - March 26, 2024 Issue

Created these First Day Covers at Pulau Pinang Main Post Office (aka George Town General Post Office). Four setenant stamps of RM1.30 vaule depicting the Chinese Dragon Dance, Indian Bharatanatyam Dance, Iban Ngajat or Women's Dance and Malay Ayam Didik Dance and a miniature sheet of RM5 combining all four dances.

I also visited Kangar Post Office, Perlis and bought and cancelled First Day Covers too for my own collection.

Visited Taiping, Perak to create these First Day Covers of Taiping 100th Anniversary - 3 stamps of values 30 sen, 50 sen, RM1.50 and a miniature sheet of RM5 with three different cancellations used - First Day Cover Taiping chop, Taiping Post Office date chop, Stamp Fair cachet chop. Addition of private First Day Cover used.
